That's what Far East do.

Now he is, no doubt. When we got him, I was assured that you would damn near never see the guy strike out.

A "catching instructor." LMAO. Is he allowed to travel with the team?

Gutless mother****ing DM.

On the phone with the Royals now, ordering playoff tickets and a Brett Hayes jersey

As an outsider it's hard for me to comment on how much of the issues with your prospects are related to a culture of coddling. I can say this: in the last ten years the Cardinals' three most hyped prospects were Colby Rasmus, Shelby Miller, and Oscar Taveras. Rasmus and Miller both had severe entitlement, maturity, and coachability issues, and Taveras has had maturity issues.

I wonder if a lot of it stems from the nature of the prospects themselves. A prodigy that comes along with the right mindset, like a Michael Wacha and Wil Myers (not to twist the knife), is pretty rare.

That said, I do wonder about the development system the Royals have in place.

I forgot about the strike year. The Royals have a chance? Cancel the season!

Strike Year we were starting to gel when the strike hit. Appier, Cone, Gubs, and Flash Gordon would have been a nasty pitching rotation going into the playoffs.

LMAO That's so true. Changing bandaids on a bleeding hemophiliac. That will fix it.

It's not just the top prospects with that issue, though. Scrubs like Jarrod Dyson have it, too, apparently.

Is that systemic, or do you just have a Nyger Morgan-type asshole on your team along with a bunched of coddled primadonnas?

ChiefsCountry 05-29-2014 02:22 PM

They got pissy when they didn't get a perk that you would think a MLB player would normally get.
