That was kinda my thought.
They're replacing Jay Cutler with Jay Cutler's weaker armed younger brother.
But I guess the third isn't a complete waste. I still wouldn't have looked at him until the 4th though - I just don't see a starter there.

Kccrow believe me all day long I've done my research the fear is he's like the kid in draft day if not though major potential. I've watched him look terrible against bama but then look brilliant against Ohio State. I feel the Bears staff can groom him and hopefully can get him ready.

I think you took him about where I would have. I don't see him as a starter either, but he's the cream of the crop as far as career backups go. Mid-third is perfect. I thought if a team wanted to try him as a starter, say Cleveland, then this would have been a good round to take him. This is a big reason I took Prescott in round 2 over Cook, Jones, and the others. I just see quite a bit more potential there for Prescott to develop into a starter in this league than I do in the rest. There's one more QB out there, he probably won't go until at least the 4th or 5th, that I think "could" be a Kirk Cousins type in this draft, but I won't be taking him due to lack of need for my teams. Whenever he is picked, I'll mention it.
