Iowa State pulls in a LB from Olathe. Offers from Mu, KU, and KSU among others.

Good pick up for the conference's worst rated recruiting team.

Lol we are getting better at recruiting... Eye popping stat I seen the other day. When CPR took over at Iowa State he only had 12(12!) guys who could squat over 500 pounds. Right now he has over 50 guys that can do that. There's a lot of young potential on the team. A hell of a lot more height, strength, and speed than there was before Rhoads.

Phew, thanks for the Iowa State updates. I'm sure everyone is excited to see if they can climb to the top of the four turds at the bottom of that conference. :Poke:

Missouri discussed here as well. Missouri is also ranked last or next to last in their conference in recruiting. I wouldn't focus too negatively on Iowa State if I was in that position.

Meh, most people care more about winning games in the conference than they do about the conference's recruiting class rankings.

I'm not sure which of the contenders will end up winning the fourth-from-the-bottom-of-the-Big (12-2) title this year, be it ISU, WVU, TCU or KU, but the winner should get something. Perhaps a golden dung beetle?

Most of the college football discussed in this thread and on this board is of the mediocre variety. Missouri Football is no different.

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- A former Kansas State offensive lineman was charged with stealing autographed baseballs bearing the signatures of such New York Yankees greats as Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio from coach Bill Snyder's home.

Chris Boggas, 23, was arrested Wednesday. He remained in jail Thursday, on $10,000 bond for a felony theft charge, and was scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday.

Riley County Police Lt. Tim Hegarty said the six baseballs stolen from Snyder's home were signed by Mantle, DiMaggio, Whitey Ford, Paul O'Neill, Phil Rizzuto and Yogi Berra.

Damn, it took all this time but you made a post in one of these threads that I can make no argument with. :doh!:

Apparently. And a fan of players robbing him.

Chris Boggas and a ten year old article and linking that to "attention to detail"? Awesome. Thankfully he didn't throw him into the medieval castle/stadium/gulag.
