I have yet to see The Hobbit but loved the LOTR series.
Bringing in Legolas means I'll be seeing this one. |

It looks great, and I'll see it.
But, I'll never look at the "fantasy" genre the same after "Game of Thrones" When you're never sure if the "good guys" will win, or be brutally murdered... it adds a lot of suspense. And bad guys become good guys over time... etc etc... I could go on, but I shouldn't. What I'm trying to say is... Damnit, Clay... torrent season 1 of GoT. |

I just hope it's not as rambling and out-of-focus as the first one was. It sure seemed at the time like maybe the original 2-movie plan might've been better.

I can't watch that on my iPhone, is there a YouTube link!?
|
This is where I piss Clay off....
That CGI'd Smaug looks like shit. |

I was just wondering if you'd watched... and what you thought about it. It's certainly different than what we've seen before. "Adult" fantasy. |
The LOTR movie trilogy was amazing because they took it seriously, and did it big budget.... and it was a huge success.
Without that, I doubt HBO would have ever taken the risk on GoT. |

And cgi orcs too?! **** you Peter Jackson you lazy twat. Do what you did in the original LOTR trilogy and have costumes & makeup. It looks better and they look a lot more real & scary. These cgi orcs are a joke! I'll most likely be passing on this shit. And lmao at them having a third Hobbit movie too. Good GOD Peter Jackson has no shame. |
CGI elves. Lovely.
