My wife will cough and scrape off too much black pepper.

It's the weakest shit ever. She's actually improved quite a bit from when we first met, but she's got a legit white 65 year old Midwesterner palate.

But hash browns with just a bit of ketchup on top is good breakfast. Just keep the ketchup away from the eggs and bacon.

Ever sprinkle some malt vinegar to go with that light ketchup on the hash browns? I do it whenever I can. I think I may have a vinegar problem though.

I'm not averse to malt vinegar on potatoes, though I prefer it on hush puppies or LJS 'crispies.' But I don't usually mix malt vinegar and ketchup.

I think I mostly use malt vinegar on fries when I'm at a couple local burger joints, . . . and at Penn Station sub shop.

Now talk about a gut buster, Penn Station's spicy Italian with a big fry and Arnold Palmer.

Thats my favorite from the breakfast menu at Corner Cafe in Riverside MO. Chorizo sausage and egg omelette its a winner.

don't know why, maybe it was my sheltered lifestyle, but i'd never heard of chorizo till i got down under. for all i know, i could have ordered it under a different name and ate it for the last 20 years. :D

How bout some chipped beef over toast? Sometimes it hits the spot better than a B&G.
