He hasn't started looking yet...and he is kind of up in the air about it... he is thinking trade school right now to ensure a good career...he doesn't want to struggle with student loans. It's just a matter of time before he does begin receiving interest, though...he is a Junior and already looks the part of a potential D1 recruit.... I'm interested to see what he ends up doing.

First day of state today...he is ranked 2nd behind future Hawkeye, Zach Axmear. Should be a barn burner if they meet in the finals Saturday.

Forgot to respond about Holloway and Foster. Our community is very excited about these two...they've had their great moments this year. Both really, really great guys too. Foster puts in a lot of time with the high school and youth club when he is back from school. The kids love him. Bright future for him. Holloway is a "tweener." Too big for 197, too small for HWT. Lotta guys fit into this category, IMO. He'd be a crazy good 220 lber if that weight existed.

My brothers and the rest of the Mepo guys went to this a few years, but I never made it there... they always had good things to say about the experience.

I cant Facebook at work...Was Bob Glasgow mentioned? He is one of two wrestlers that I didn't beat my senior year. He was an awesome competitor! The other I didn't beat was because we only wrestled once. AND of course got that pic in the sports section...

In the KC Metro, Both Park Hill and Staley are nationally ranked. Staley's Coach, Gary Mayab is an awesome coach....

Little bro knocked off the 6th ranked guy first round at state today. Pinned him in 2:47....so far, so good. 3 more to go!!!

There are a lot of tough draws this year, a lot of guys who should meet in the finals meeting in quarters.

If anyone wants to watch a bunch of Muslims beat up on Team USA Christians in the World Cup, make sure you check in tomorrow morning for potential Iran-USA dual. USA has to beat Azerbaijan first, but I think they will. But the Muslims are scary! Probably no chance. And it's in Tehran.... which looks to be 10X more awesome than Carver Hawkeye Arena.

Holloway can be good at Hwt! There are two tiny ones in the top 6 this year. One of them, Jacob Kasper, used to wrestle 184. Holloway's been impressive this year when his conditioning is under control. Lots of potential and should continue to add size. Unfortunately, that slob Sam Stoll may be ahead of him for the next two years. But Stoll is always an injury risk, I guess.

well they actually mix it up instead of just yelling for "stalling." Very entertaining and passionate crowd. They were very excited to see USA beat Russia's C-team.
