She can almost certainly put him down with telepathy, a power they completely ignored in Cap 3 but which she took down almost everyone in a battle in Avengers 2.

Hulk is too savage for her. At best she could just slow him down momentarily. Eventually he'd get to her and she'd have no way of putting him down.

That's correct.

If she can turn the Hulk "on," I think it's probable she has the ability to turn him off as well.

At the very least, her ability to move matter should be able to suspend him adequately. Add in the Vision, and the two of them can probably take Banner down.

I wouldn't bet my life on it, but yeah.

I think that's a fair point, but again, Cap 3 reeeeeally ignored her telepathy abilities. Using them, she was able to sideline Thor, Cap, and Black Widow, and then activated the "real" Hulk -- she did this with some help from Quicksilver.

I think if you've got a tag-team with her and Vision, that team takes Hulk down ten times out of ten. Her alone? Assuming you grant her the telepathy powers she suggested (and should now have more control of) in Avengers 2, you've probably got her winning ten times out of ten.

If you ignore her telepathic abilities as Cap 3 did, I don't see how she puts Hulk down but she can probably hold him long enough for Natasha to calm him down or some other creative solution... I'd trust her to take him down by herself 6 times out of 10 in that situation.

LOL Good Lord we look like a couple of 14 year old nerds, but I could talk about this shit all day.

What telepathic abilities has she really shown beyond showing visions? We've yet to see her read someone's mind, control them (I guess you can argue she did that to the team to some extent), or just shut someone's mind down completely ala Professor X.

She can try and get in Hulk's head but unless she can shut him down it's only going to piss him off more until he gets close enough to rag doll her like he did Loki. Unfortunately for her, she's nowhere near as durable as he is.

Realistically, he wouldn't even need to get near her. He could probably just launch cars or other heavy objects at her from a distance.

That's kinda like saying if she can light a match she can put out a forrest fire.

Heh. Yeah this is pretty nerdy. This is the guy you're talking to, however.

So far, she can't read minds (not that that would help her against Banner), but she's shown the ability to sense the emotions and thoughts/doubts inside people and she can reveal to them visions that pretty much render them useless. Thor is a goddamn tank and he was useless when she struck him. We've also seen her tap into the power of an infinity stone -- hard to see, however, if that means she could tap into the power of Hulk's gamma radiation -- I think that'd be a leap of logic.

And keep in mind, all of her telepathic abilities took place in Avengers 2. She's still struggling with her powers in Cap 3. It's reasonable to assume that she's getting stronger across the board.

I think she could probably show Hulk a vision that would pretty much render him useless for a while (or longer). It's possible she could develop the ability to put him to sleep or calm him down. Maybe.

If we're just talking physicals, though, I think she can hold him off, and even negate him enough so that some creative solutions (like Natasha's "lullaby") could take place, a majority of the time.

She was given her powers after her handlers had tested on the infinity stone. I'm not entirely sure that played a part but would make sense as to why she was so easily able to take care of Vision by tapping into its power.

We probably just don't have enough information at this point, honestly. In the comics, Hulk is pretty much immune to any kind of telepathy while he's in beast mode. We've yet to see if that's true in the MCU. And Scarlett Witch is just weird as well. I'm not even sure the producers know exactly what she can do.

I'm extremely excited for all of the upcoming films. May be time to start a new thread for all of them.
