The Falcons have some needs, I was hoping Lacy would fall to here (really think the Packers could have used him) and too early to take the 2nd best TE to replace Tony G. Considered a trade with New England for their second TE, Aaron Hernandez, but as I am drafting for both teams, there might be some conflict of interests perceived.
To help with the eventual loss of Abraham, the Atlanta Falcons select Alex Okafor, DE, Texas.

KurtCobain 03-03-2013 05:23 PM

They've already cut Abraham, so good pick.

sfchief 03-03-2013 05:27 PM

The San Francisco 49ers select Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
justin smith is 34 and up for a contract BPA

KCrockaholic 03-03-2013 08:49 PM

With the last pick of the 1st round, the Baltimore Ravens select: ILB, Kevin Minter, LSU

With the retirement of Ray Lewis, the spot next to Ellerbe needs to be addressed. Kevin Minter won't bring the same impact as Lewis did to the field, but he'll be a solid contributor in keeping the Ravens D a top tier group.

Um...New England drafted Rhodes and Atlanta drafted Okafor.

chiefscafan 03-04-2013 07:45 AM

Ok fixed sorry

saphojunkie 03-04-2013 09:45 AM

With the 33rd overall pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Zach Ertz, TE Stanford.

Sfeihc 03-04-2013 11:24 AM

Frisco, OTC and the rich get richer.

Mr. Flopnuts 03-04-2013 11:29 AM

Who would you draft here if this is how the draft fell and you were the Chiefs still holding onto that pick? Let's say hypothetically everyone got it wrong, and it was a 3rd or 4th this year going. You're the Chiefs. Who do you take right now?

Sfeihc 03-04-2013 11:44 AM

Cyprien, S, FL INT. I think KC will find a starting CB in FA. So take J. Cyprien here and have a very nice secondary.

sfchief 03-04-2013 11:57 AM

The 49ers select Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech.

 Yep. Those are the 3 I had targeted. I think I take a flyer on Wilson and see what I got in him.

chiefscafan 03-04-2013 02:09 PM

I probably go cyphrin too or maybe or Robert woods

Mother****erJones 03-04-2013 08:15 PM

Chiefs select WR Terrance Williams Baylor

Mother****erJones 03-04-2013 08:37 PM

I PMd Sanka. What ya know lol on NFL total access they talked about Dion Jordan as a possibility

chiefscafan 03-04-2013 08:42 PM

I talked to my brother bout that he was like that would be interesting. I said I liked that pick I just don't want us to draft jokel I think today confirmed that is doubtful making me happy today :)

Sanka 03-04-2013 08:48 PM

With the 36th pick the Detroit Lions select OL Alabama Barrett Jones

KurtCobain 03-04-2013 08:50 PM

This draft is so crazy deep at wr.

Sanka 03-04-2013 08:51 PM

The Cincinnati Bengals select Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker
Andre Smith is a free agent and asking 9mil a year.

chiefscafan 03-04-2013 09:27 PM

So you take one ol from Bama and replace him with another interesting

chiefscafan 03-04-2013 09:30 PM

Fixed your name please pm next person

sfchief 03-04-2013 09:32 PM

We all know the bengals are cheap. They are not going to pay Smith.

NJChiefsFan 03-05-2013 12:39 AM

Arizona Cardinals Select:

QB, Mike Glennon, NC State

RyFo18 03-05-2013 08:42 AM

2.39 The New York Jets select Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas

Sanchize actually turned out to be just a dirty Sanchez, so we'll look to the future by bringing in Wilson and have an open quarterback competition.

KurtCobain 03-05-2013 10:54 AM

Caught at work again so someone could please pm the next guy I would be very happy with you.

Titans want Johnathon banks, db.

saphojunkie 03-05-2013 03:32 PM

The Buffalo Bills select Robert Woods, WR USC.

We have to make sure that Matt Barkley is ready to hit the ground running, and after deliberating between Woods and Justin Hunter, we just feel that Matt's familiarity with Woods will speed along the transition tremendously.

Additionally, we think Woods is more talented but was held back by a reeruned head coach.

Nightfyre 03-05-2013 03:33 PM

sapho is basically betting his organizations future entirely on Lane Kiffin's incompetence. Nice play, really.

chiefscafan 03-05-2013 03:53 PM

The Miami Dolphins take OLB Aurthur Brown KSU

Too much value at this point could eventually replace Burnett.

Direckshun 03-05-2013 03:57 PM

I continue to applaud the speed and efficiency of this mock. I also think just about every pick is plausible and sensible, though I obviously disagree with more than a few.

Great job, folks.

The Franchise 03-05-2013 04:07 PM

So far....not so bad.

Although I think the Tennessee pick in the 1st is beyond stupid.

Nightfyre 03-05-2013 04:11 PM

I was surprised by Trufant going at 17 and dumbfounded by Bray at 10. They are probably both second to third round players. I'm sure the official mock will have its fair share of head shakers as well, though.

I can't wait to see how you're going to fail the 49ers.

I don't know how you'll do it -- you're going to have 15 picks.

But one-by-one, you will manage to ruin that team.

And I will play the violin as San Fransisco burns.

With the 43rd pick the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select DT Johnathan Hankins Ohio St.

Nightfyre 03-05-2013 05:55 PM

That is an outright steal for the Buccs.

ArrowheadMagic 03-05-2013 06:01 PM

The Carolina Panthers with the 44th pick of the draft select..

Larry Warford G Kentucky

Pure road grader, instantly upgrades the power run game.. Provides protection for Cam to improve the nearly 7% sack rate from last year.

Had to grab a big fatty since I dont have a 3rd. Going to be a good player. Played well against the top tackles in the SEC and SR bowl.

crazycoffey 03-05-2013 09:10 PM

I get it arrow, just makes this pick harder, San Diego needs OL the most, got a great OT first round. Wanted Warford, now is it too early to take long, or go defense and get them a CB?

Good question, they have a lot of holes. CB, pass rusher, WR,G, RB... lmao... didnt realize how bad off they are... Some good DT's still left.

crazycoffey 03-05-2013 09:28 PM

With the 45th pick of the draft, the San Diego Chargers select;

OG Dallas Thomas Tennessee. Played tackle and guard, helps a dismal line in SD. Nobody cares I took two OL in the draft. Chargers offense is instantly better with these two picks

crazycoffey 03-05-2013 09:34 PM

I don't know we have to move on when he comes he will pick happens at real draft too

I sucks Told my friend bout Kyle Long I wanted him for eagles knows chip Kelly o.

but he was one of the best guys available.

there is someone still here who shouldn't still be on this board right now. I wonder

if he will be there by my pick

So giants went on clock at 8:23 AM have till 8:23 PM

then Chicago Bears are on the clock

Mother****erJones 03-06-2013 03:47 PM

Steelers select DT Kawann Short Purdue

Nightfyre 03-06-2013 03:53 PM

This draft clearly undervalues the safety position. Only one drafted in the first 47 picks?

Yeah, most boards have 3 in the top 5o most likely, some good value in 3rd or 4th round at this pace.

Sanka 03-06-2013 04:32 PM

Since we are approaching the 3rd round soon, when do the compensation picks come out?

We should call a hiatus until then, since we're flying through this mother****er. It will also give people a week or so to really geek out on some later round guys.

Finish the 2nd and wait, could be something to think about. Isnt worse than trading.LOL joke.

chiefscafan 03-06-2013 06:08 PM

I was thinking bout finishing second and taking 3rd on the day after comp picks are figured out. I just don't want to lOse people in meantime.

All trades that involve first second rounders in real life aren't counted in our mock.
