Things I like having not broken down a lot of games: Very quick, snappy release. Might be the best in the draft. Solid arm strength Great movement within the pocket whilst keeping his eyes downfield Things I don't like: Happy feet, it seems to me like he's trying to overemulate Manning too much. It negates his accuracy on deeper routes. Lack of touch consistently. You'll see it but it isn't at the regularity especially on deep throws ala Geno/Wilson. There are some that are solid but I'd regard him as inconsistent in that area. I'll be able to provide a better breakdown hopefully by tomorrow. I really love Nassib's ability to move/reset/shrug rushers within the pocket. I also like that he consistently looks downfield. |

Prelimary thoughts: Struggled with pressure from DBs (could also be a protection issue, there is one instance where a LG completely missed on a twist whilst the LT and RB picked up the blitz) but overall, wasn't bad. Missed a few throws but was mainly consistent and led them on a nice drive that could have potentially tied it up only to be plagued by drops (in coverage; NFL Wrs probably make the catch but IIRC Lemon was jacked on one of them). |

My problem with nassib is for him to be successful and them to win games this year, they had to pull the reins on him and make him a game manager. I like his upside, but he would take a good amount of polishing before he was even close.
|
Screw Nassib when we can have take a better QB with our first pick. No need to dance around it.
|
I'd rather have Dysert than Nassib personally if we are going 2nd round with no Geno/Wilson.
|
Nassib has a ****ing stupid name. What country is that from? ****tardistan?
|
So, we can have the best QB in the draft, but we are going to settle for number 4 or 5. Jeez, that would be stupid.

His arm strength is very good, even with the elongated step, or the throws off the back foot. I don't, however see the longated delivery. He has as quick a release as any. |

It's little plays like that that honestly impress me more than big beautiful bombs.
That's the kind of thing Matt Cassel always ****ed up. |
Found this interesting nugget on twitter.
Mayock on Geno Smith: ``He's athletic. Natural arm, delivery. From phys. skill-set perspective, could do some of things (in Kelly's O).'' |

(Clears Throat) John and Andy drafting Best Player Available Not Geno at One |

Most useless and stupid form ever. This is better. There once was a coach named Reid He said that you don't draft for need. But when they fully evaluate this guy They will then know to take him high And future Championships they will seed. |
When at the board you
Look it's obvious Geno Is the BPA. |

So people are knocking Geno's abilities?? With those stats?? Is he suppose to complete 100% of his passes with Zero INTs??

I'll just launch a throw to Nantucket Then Scouts, Reid and Dorsey will say We must have this kid in KC to play And the AFC West will have to suck it. |
Geno is better than any QB we have had on this team since Montana. Chiefs have to take him. We have had some of the worst QB's to ever play the last few years.
Not sure how we could pass on him?? He won't be there in the second round. |

It would be great to see the Donks stuck with old man mangina- choking in the Playoffs and we have a new Stud for QB for once. Donks would love to see Geno fall to them. |

Speaking of Rutgers, I'm watching that film right now. Our 2nd round draft pick and future starter at CB is on that team, Logan BAMF Ryan. |
Would it be worth it to have spinoff threads that attempt to discredit Joeckel, Star, etc? Thinking we could GIF them up and send links to media members. Just trying to think outside the box in an effort to prevent the Chiefs from finding a way to screw this up.
|
Of course that's assuming there is some way to discredit those players.
|
I do wish Boyd would have declared. That kid can flat out play and has the skills that are new hot thing in the nfl. It would have been intresting to see him perform at the combine. I am Geno with the group available.
|
Geno > Boyd

Please, don't need another teams garbage any ****in' more. (Casshole, Quinn).
Draft Geno Smith, period..................... enough said. |
Cassel will head back to New England with his tail between his legs.

Move aside Fax, Milkman is on his way.

My son keeps asking me if they are going to draft Smith.
I keep telling him I don't know, but I'm hopeful. He says, "Are they afraid?" I said, Maybe. He says, "The only mistake is not trying". He's 14. Chip off the ol' block. :) |

I am probably the greatest QB in the history of Madden. I'm like the Peyton Manning of Madden QB's with the 4th quarter clutch of Joe Montana.
I manipulate the pocket and display awareness that is just impossible to replicate. I'm just...whoa. |

you only dropped back 8 yards on that one...nice
why don't you try stepping up in the pocket? It works, even in the video games! |

For example, would I even attempt this throw if I was concerned about the game? No. I'm purely doing this to show clips of Geno in madden.

ok now make a 400 lb 7 foot man play QB and call him Giggle Bear and post clips
I'd rather see some of those |
Can we just get off of Madden?
It's just a stupid ****ing video game. |
LMAO Well now we've got both ends of the spectrum.
