Alex can absolutely improve another team, just not this one.

I would be extremely excited if I was a Browns fan and he was my QB.

A 21 year old rookie QB should not be the savior for the worst team in NFL history. That’s too much pressure.

I would want some stability and Alex will help bring that to them.

We'll find a way to **** it up.

There you go. Alex is made for a team that he doesn't have to carry, and that Jags defense is legit. THEY would carry the team, plus Fournette looks to be a solid starter at RB for years to come. Let's see what kind of chops Veach has - go get their first and third for Alex and our sixth.

If they really do not like any of the QB's in the draft, I think they could sell the fan base on Alex being their QB. I just do not see them burning either of their 1sts on a QB and then giving up high picks for Smith. Their roster has too many holes to burn multi picks on two QB's, need to make a call on your QB for the next 5 years and go with it.

No way they give us the #15 for Smith.

I feel bad if Mahomes is in a situation where he has to try and carry the team. Very few quarterbacks have done that in recent history with success. It'll look like the 2011 Lions where it's huge yards/completions but mediocre W-L

Defense. Wins. Championships.

That is where Alex’s veteran salary and Pat’s cheap rookie salary comes into play. Get some trade value for Alex to acquire young defensive talent, save money at QB and spend it on defense/OL, and cut some of the older defensive salaries to help pay for younger defensive talent.

Now he can piss down his leg twice a year against Pitt.
