And the one question that needs to be asked is what about the Raiders cap situation? $11 million is no small chunk.

The Raiders may not give two shits about what Crabtree thinks, considering he led the NFL in dropped passes last year. If you have a chance to swap out Crabtree for Megatron, you do it.

Then again, putting all 3 of them on the field in a redzone situation would be a nightmare matchup for almost any team . . . . you know, until Crabtree drops the ball in the endzone . . . . . .

In the 1970s and 1980s, I understood it. I didn't respect it at all, but I understood it. The Raiders' reputation back then was that they didn't care if you snorted cocaine at halftime or if you sexually assaulted children in the training facility. All they cared about was that you played dirty, and some players liked that.

But today? The Raiders are just another buttoned-up corporate team. If you fancy yourself a rebel, you should want to go to the Seahawks or the Saints or something. The Raiders these days wear ties.

There is such a thing as having too many star players. It can cause problems in the locker room because everyone thinks they should get the ball. Who knows if this even happens? I guess I'll believe it when I see it. If it happens, I hope he falls on his face.

Don't have to worry about that in KC, especially with Maclin gone...

Sorry, had too - window was wide open.

Unfortunately for you, Paxton Lynch wouldn't be able to throw a ball through it.

So Johnson signs a mega-deal on a dead-end team...gets frustrated when said team is, in fact, a dead-end then retires. He waits until the team moves on and allocates his bloated salary to other players yet can still reinstate himself at any time...choosing to do so when they cant afford him anymore. This would force his release...

It would set a very dicey precedence for disgruntled star players on shitty franchises....

One of the few powers they have. ****ing smart actually.

This happening would definitely exploit what may be loop hole. If this works then the next CBA the owners will have in place a no return policy. When you retire you can never return.

It would be wise and will probably happen. Hopefully players are smart and get guaranteed contracts out of it.
