Looks like the Royals hitters know Duffy is pitching.

So far, we have the "good" version of Duffy and Morales.

And why is Omar playing? It seemed like he had been effectively phased out.

No Eibner, so Dyson goes to left, Whit goes to 3rd (from 2nd), Omar gets 2nd. They are quite literally running out of players.

Agreed on both accounts. Merrifield is faster, more selective at the plate, and gets on more. I feel if this keeps up during the road trip, the move should happen (though we know Ned won't do it).

This Merrifield kid is looking like a good keeper. I know it's small sample size, but he looks like he passes the eye test.

And Omar is even hitting now.

Omar can grab some bench.

Well, players do need some days off in between, so I'm guessing Cheslor is getting his day off today and I would guess Merrifield will get his tomorrow. Again, just a guess.

Butera is so much better at the plate this year.

I don't know what Butera did on his offseason, but it looks like he did something different, and it's having a positive effect on his offensive game.

Archer has been solid for 3 years straight. Having a bit of a rough go to start the year.
