The Bengals I'll listen to but they just had a tendency to suck and when they didn't, they actually went to 2 SBs in the 80s. Heartbreak requires consistent expectations and disappointment. Until the last few years, the Bengals had no expectations. The Jets are the same creature and even they had 3 straight AFC championship games to talk about.

I'd consider putting the Eagles ahead of us as well but that's it. The Chiefs are 5 at worst, IMO.

If this were 20 years ago, the Oilers would top this list. I, kind of, want to put the Browns in here, just because of what happened to them in the 90s. Chargers should be in this list too.
