Absolutely. I played baseball with a tennis ball way more often than I played with an actual baseball. Another point for the ol' TB!

Ping pong balls frighten me. I'm afraid that they'll fly into my mouth and then get lodged in my throat, both costing me the point and killing me.

I've always kept a baseball at my desk to fiddle with while I think.

Since putting-down our dog last week I've replaced the baseball with the ball she used to love so much. Like this one:
