It's about time. He's been a liability in coverage the last few years, he's not the same anymore.

Next stop.....the Hall of Fame

Russillo and Kannell were talking about Polamalu today. Said he would have been out of the league in a couple years if he got drafted by another team with another system.

I agree 10000%

I agree 10000%

It was Louis Riddick they had on

he said in the box safeties were going the way of the dinosaur until Polamalu came along and they realized how valuable it was in the 3-4. Paved the way for guys like Eric Berry and Kam Chancellor to have value in this league to be used the same way.

Great player but I still can't believe Ed Reed vs Troy Polamalu was a thing. I'd take Reed over Troy 11 times out of 10.

Not even in the same conversation. Polamalu deserves Bob Sanders comparisons. Reed stands alone.

No kidding. "Bob Sanders" was the greatest safety who never played the game.

Yep. Polamalu will go in because of the hair and the commercials. He was a fine player and I'm not saying that he doesn't deserve consideration for his play on the field, but he'll go in because of the marketing stuff.

ThaVirus 04-11-2015 12:05 AM

He deserves it. In his prime he could do it all...

OMGZ HE JUMP OVER DA LINE

milkman 04-11-2015 07:41 AM

Ed Reed was the beneficiary of the mistakes that the defense in front of him created.

Polamalu created plays.
