I wish they could have kept Javier around more. one of my favorite bond villians

He was definitely an excellent villain, maybe the best up to this point, even said so in the thread about Skyfall... but just thinking of Waltz in Inglorious Basterds makes me think he has a chance to trump them all.

He locked it up for me in the first one... Craigs Bond doesn't have time for snappy one liners and sexual innuendo, theres too much ass that needs to be kicked for all of that.

LMAO well put

He was so quirky, yet demented; a truly odd twist on the approach. I agree, he could really upstage any of the villains, if done right.

Yeah, he has that ultra sharp "nothing escapes my attention" cold and calculating thing down pat.

I love Craig's Bond. If he came on to me Id throw all this pussy at him.

ThaVirus 03-28-2015 10:52 AM

But for reals doe.. His Bond movies are great. I'm sure this one will be no different.

I even liked Quantum of Solace.

I'd like to see Nolan get to do a Bond film.

I think they tried or were close, but it fell through because his schedule was booked out until he was going to be 100 or something.

Not according to the imdb page.

It could be a red herring though.

But that's the "rumor". There's no way they're going to officially acknowledge that because it'll take the fun out of it for fans of the series.

The fact that this is even an argument shows how awesome the Daniel Craig era Bond is. Such a great turnaround from the terrible writing of the Pierce era. Goldeneye had it's good moments, and a lot of that was thanks to the ground breaking video game.... but sheesh to the other ones.

Roger Moore was a great Bond, but the writing just got absolutely terrible.

and since Connery, we finally have a good Bond AND good writing again.

Casino Royal was amazing. By far my favorite Bond flick

Hope you're right. Love Waltz

I myself was disappointed in Skyfall (I thought the movie had massive plot holes, under-utilized Bardem and had a disappointing final act).

I love Waltz and Craig though, so I'll definitely be giving this one a watch.
