Man that sucks. If it makes you feel better I dropped 225 on my chest Christmas Eve. Went on to bench 275 3 times and the pain got to be to much. Still to sore to lift. Wish you a speedy recovery.

I was only working with 205 and it was like my 4th set. I was well warmed up and there was no hint of anything going wrong.

Really just bam it happened? That's kind of scary I lift without a direct spotter at least twice a week.

Yeah, on the downward part of the 3rd rep it ppopped. Luckily I didn't have collars on the bar so the weightsjust dumped on the floor.

Most guys who tear pec muscles have no idea it's coming and it's usually with sub-maximal weight. Scary shit. Probably my worst nightmare.
