ROFL I had the same one!

Walking around the Arrowhead concourse on a cold Sunday would lead one to believe that Starter jackets never went out in the first place.

I had that same coat except Phoenix Suns. That thing lasted forever and was very warm. I loved that middle pocket thing too.

They may look silly now, but I'll tell you what, those damn things were warm. I remember my first trek to the bus stop rocking that thing. It was incredible.

I have old Chiefs and Royals Starter jackets in the closet upstairs.....always wanted to sell them, but each time I started to put them out on Ebay I couldn't pull the trigger to do it.....guess I was being sentimental.

was too poor to buy the starter jackets until they became cheap. Probably looked a damn fool with my ridiculously bright red, one size too small knockoff on my 115lb. frame back then, but **** you. Chiefs!

Seriously, I owned that exact jacket and exact color. I got my first Driver's License Picture with that ****ing thing on. Just awful. As far as my jeans, it was nothing but Levi's back in those days.

I still remember being in fifth grade with my ProPlayer Chiefs' jacket. I didn't get the Starter one.

Before lunch we were lining up at the door to go out. The teacher was devising ways to not have everyone run to the line at the same time. The first thing she said was, "anyone not wearing a starter coat can come up to the line."

I was so embarrassed to not have the Starter jacket that I pretended like I didn't hear her because I didn't want to get singled out in my non Starter Chiefs' coat. Well, of course all my friends pointed out that I wasn't wearing a Starter jacket so I was pressured into going to the line, in shame, in my ProPlayer coat. It is amazing that back then something so silly was oh so devastating.
