Ryan Succop was 28 for 34. Huge difference. |

The Succop arguments are just stupid.
You don't need an elite kicker to win a SB. Last 5 SB winning kickers: Lawrence Tynes Mason Crosby John Carney/Garrett Hartley Jeff Reed Lawrence Tynes Only Reed had a significantly better kicking percentage than Succop the year he won the SB. 80 percent kicker is just fine. The only reason you might lose a SB with an 80 percent kicker is because your QB is a POS. |

Reliable under pressure? Yes. |
Succop is fine for the most part. He just has a tendency to miss easy chipshots at times which can be really ****ing aggravating.

Succop nailed GW FGs against Pittsburgh (09), Buffalo (10) and San Diego (11) in his career. He also made a 52-yard field goal against the Panthers last season that basically sealed a win late in the 4th. And he's had at LEAST 4 games where the Chiefs only won because he made every kick in the game out of 4 or 5 attempts. Washington in 09, Minnesota and Green Bay in 2011, New Orleans in 2012. He did miss a FG against the Steelers last year that would have given us a lead, but he also forced OT in that game with a late FG. In pressure situations, he's done pretty well. He is far from Lin Elliot. |

Interesting. |

I think he missed a big one in PIT, and I also am pretty sure our QB was extra bad in that game as well. There is no doubt that the QB was SOC's biggest hero this year. |

correction it was the Raider Game |
That was a blocked kick. Please.
