Thanks for sharing, enjoyed both.

Grew up rocking out to Heart...

I went to a Heart-Cheap Trick-Journey (w/ Filipino Perry) concert about four years ago. CT was god awful, Journey went on forever with their new stuff that no one wanted to listen to, and felt like karaoke for obvious reasons, but Heart was absolutely fantastic.

That was good.

Several years ago while listening to an old Howard Stern on Sirius I heard an acoustic cover of "Woodstock" done by James Taylor (a Joni Mitchell song made famous by Crosby, Stills and Nash). The song was so overwhelming I sat in my car and replayed it several times.

Wow. There was indeed dust in the room. The Zep cover was amazing on its own, then the shots of Plant coming to tears...

The second video. More wow. Thanks for posting. Glad I'm alone in the house right now.

Me too, I had to chuckle. Though, he IS the right age and I'm sure even he remembers Zep. Prolly never owned any of their stuff, but he remembers...

Yep. I've pulled this and put it in my music collection.

I watched the game last night. I wondered if he went out intending to stop singing after the first few lines or if he just heard the crowd doing so well he decided to let them go.

Lzen 04-18-2013 10:03 AM

Wow, I had never seen that Kennedy Center Honors thing. I found the entire Zep dedication.

Great stuff. Anyone know who is the singer on Rock and Roll?

And Heart is still awesome!
