Kaepernick makes plays that Cassel never ever has. He could still bust, but his ceiling is way, way above where Cassel's was on his brightest day. The best thing that anyone ever said about Cassel is that he has the right attitude and works hard. Kaepernick actually has some real talent.

49ers aren't making the superbowl, mark my words. They remind me of GB last year, killing it all season long then losing in the divisional round, same with the Pats.

This team lost to ****ing minnesota and people think that some 2nd string is going to lead them to a NFCC more then halfway through the season, you're all smoking PCP.

He has an elite arm. That alone makes him > Casshole.

Look at that line and those weapons...any QB could put up numbers and show real talent in that system, even Cassel.

Once again... that has nothing to do with being a QB guru.

I didnt think you were this dense.

He's a former pro QB who knows how to max out the talent of any player he has at that position, he is ELITE in that regard.

You just felt like being a smartass with someone, didnt you?

Rugby Thompson 11-25-2012 04:48 PM

Nice pick Caepernick, I expect a lot more..the pressure is getting to him.

Rugby Thompson 11-25-2012 04:48 PM

Holy ****, that catch by Henderson.

For QBs, I go more by what they do on the field than by numbers. He makes plays that Cassel is unable to make.

He turned an average QB into a barely above average QB. Can people stop acting like Alex Smith was EVER a good QB? He wasn't good last year and he wasn't good this year. He's been above average playing under Harbaugh.

Is turning an average QB into an above average QB a big enough accomplishment to call someone a QB guru?
