I just think Quick will be as good if not better in this series. Oh and IMO Roy was the best goalie of all time. I would put Brodeur in the Top 3-5 though.

I hear this all the time and it really is very arguable either way IMO. I still go 1. Marty 2. Roy

If you think Roy is a better net minder than Brodeur then YOU ARE HIGH.

Roy:
Wins - 551
Shutouts - 66
Save % - .910
GAA - 2.54

Brodeur:
Wins - 656
Shutouts - 119 (All time shutout leader)
Save % - .913
GAA - 2.23

How so? Are you one of those people that thinks that the only teams that a person can root for is their local team?

Can I get a witness from the proclamation?

Turk Broda is the greatest goalie of all time. (5 Stanley Cups in 14 seasons).

They both pretty much have the same win % when throwing out ties, but Brodeur has had a slight advantage because ties no longer exist.

Devils in 5, maybe 6. Now, I'm a huge Brodeur mark. I admit it. But I believe on this stage, he reminds us why he is the greatest goalkeeper of all time.

Lets go back in time, shall we? 15 years ago... brodeur>quick. Now lets fast forward to present day... Quick>brodeur. Hmmm...

slight?!?!? He is the ONLY goalie to ever win 600 games and currently sits at 656. Marty has 8 40 win seasons including 3 consecutive. Roy has 1 40 win season... ever. Jeez man, he has even scored a game winning goal (he has scored twice in his career).

This isn't even homer speak... its just numbers. In no universe is Roy a better G than Marty.

15 years ago he was a God. Now at 40 he is a Demi-God.

I'll still take the Demi-God.

I guess we'll see.

I'll take the Vet that is still one of the best in the game.

I honestly had no idea Brodeur was still playing, he was nails in NHL '95 IIRC
