70 a month for the internet package, 120 for the internet & tv package? I'd just pay the extra 50 a month if they had ESPN.

Probably in their premium packages available for an additional fee.

this

and does that channel list come at the base price? Usually showtime etc are extra cost add-ons.

good price for the tv/internet but the 'just internet' price is high imo

You think $70 is high for a 1Gbit connection?

Plus up the value of your home by a little. Always good. And if at any point you decide you have the extra cash to get Google's packages, you can. Seems like a great deal.

ArrowheadHawk 07-26-2012 11:11 AM

So how long till this thing is across the country? How can google afford to do this? I read on another site it is going to cost them $3 - $8K per home to install.

They sold this as a cheaper but faster situation not a premium, elite service.

So yes, 70 bucks for the initial price is expensive no matter speed.

If speed doesn't matter to you than google fiber won't matter to you.

They actually said it's free for a guaranteed seven years.

Too bad I live around a bunch of old people, no way my fiberhood meets a pre-registration goal.

ReynardMuldrake 07-26-2012 11:18 AM

And it comes with a free Droid tablet?? **** yeah!

DRU 07-26-2012 11:19 AM

Of course, it's showing not available in my area. Doh!
