well stanford routt, kendrick lewis, that ILB, dorsey and jackson are all ****ing terrible thats why

so that was easy. its just a lot of people refused to believe that going into the season, and then they learned the hard way watching what unfolded throughout the season.

Pioli and RAC.

We're likely to have gotten the following from that draft:

Dorsey: four years of a solid starter
Flowers: Ten years of solid--very good play
Charles: Six-Eight years of good to elite play
Carr: Four years of good to very good play
Albert: Six-twelve years of good to near elite play

Too bad Cottam had the neck of Kurt Angle.

Sure wish we had drafted this guy instead of Dorsey:

Like I said, a great draft. Pioli insisting on going to a 3-4 right away as well letting Carr walk kind of pull the rug out from under some of it, though.

Seriously, that class of 2008 has to be one of the top 10 draft classes ever...even with Dorsey busting.

It was amazing we passed on Flacco twice.

Because 2 of the starting DL can't provide a pass rush even when the play call instructs them to do so?

People get so caught up in the 2 gap/ 1gap. There are plenty of instances in which our DL stunted out of base fronts and put them in 1 gap situations and they failed to provide a pass rush. That's with a DC who is predicated nearly entirely on 2gap principles out of base fronts.

Basically, TJack and Dorsey aren't going to be effective pass rushers, despite the "scheme".

Has there been a quarterback that won a superbowl over the last few years that we DIDN'T pass on?

The Mannings...is that it?
