Why? And console or PC?

I played it on a console, but I don't think that was the culprit. I liked the fact they tried to create something fresh and new. The production quality and the voice acting were great but, in the end, it was just too boring for me. Something was missing, I just can't put my finger on it.

****ing hell. I bought Dragonborn the other day at full price and now it's on sale.

Witcher 2 was incredible, IMO. LA Noire was a huge disappointment.

I remember all the hubbub about the Witcher and tried it only to find it lacking...perhaps it's too...European for me.

What did you find lacking? I thought it was a good linear RPG. Awesome graphics, great, satisfying combat, interesting story and good character progression. If you were expecting Skyrim, I can see how the lack of the open world would make the game seem inadequate, but it's just a different genre of RPG.

Witcher 3 is going to be everything Skyrim dreamt of being, though. :D

And Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be everything Witcher 3 dreams of being. :D

I don't think I ever shared the hilarious "Beginning" video for Witcher 3:

Frostbite 3.0 makes my blood rush to my loins.

Guess I'm just not a fan of linear RPG's, it's just seemed very bland. What makes SKyrim so great for me is the modding community, it is 2nd to none.

I couldn't finish either of the Witcher games. Maybe it was the translation, but the dialogue was pretty odd and the quests pretty generic. The invisible walls sucked too.

Ya it seemed either generic or an odd euro thing, either way I only played a bit.

I'm playing Far Cry 3 right now ... pretty damn awesome.

Yeah, that first screenshot was pretty sweet.

I will play TW3, I'm just looking forward to Inquisition more. I've had (and continue to have) a hard time getting into TW2.

Hammock Parties 07-13-2013 05:50 PM

TW3 is open world, therefore it will destroy my soul.

Can't wait.

And if it gets Bethesda to up their game...even better.

keg in kc 07-13-2013 06:06 PM

Inquisition is open world also.

That's a negative to my mind, but I'll play anyway.
