Will be interesting to see what the FAA uncovers. But the cabin didn't depressurize if it had those passengers would have really had something to shit drawers about. The one passenger saying they saw daylight bullshit. That plane would start coming apart from depressurization. They will probably find the interior bulkheads came apart. Disturbing but probably no a threat to air worthiness.

It is pretty stupid, since if there was daylight the cabin would have depressurized and everyone would have known it.

It doesn't sound like they were in any danger, just the interior wall separated.

OK now that would scare me. Had a Delta jet almost land 20 miles from the airport in Atlanta once. Popped out of cloud cover at about 500 feet with a rate of descent of about 2k per minute. Pilot hit afterburners like .2 seconds later. No one around me had any idea.
