They will eventually land a 3rd round comp for Bell. But yeah, 2 3's and a 5 is a horrible return for two high end talents.

Right now I'm not concerned in the slightest, because Carr won't get the most out of him. On the otherhand, I really do think they're gonna get Kyler Murray and who knows what to expect.

If they get Murray I personally think it will be a disaster

Maybe some success early on, but nothing sustainable.

Well see I think Brown would make Carr a better QB.

On another note I've been critical of Veach but hes flipped Smith for a 2 and Fuller and will likely get atleast a 2 for Ford. Hes gotten more for lesser players than what the Steelers got. Shit forgot Peters too.

Not a great influence to put on a young QB I’d say.

The pressure of Gruden and a whiny receiver who wants 10+ targets a game? Good luck kid. That doesn’t even take into account the possibility of Bell.

Cooper went from Carr to Prescott and blew up that should tell you how bad Carr is

I think the best use for Brown would be deep passing, which isn't something Carr likes to do. I don't think Gruden likes Carr much though.

Yea a 2nd for Peters doesn’t seem so bad now when you look at what Brown got and how Peters played and carried himself in 2018.

It felt worse having to wait a year, but I’m glad we have it now.

To play devils advocate I think we make the super bowl had Peters played and maybe if Berry were healthy but that's revisionist history talking. Its clear Veach has a plan for the defense and we will see if it gets executed. Just please for the love of god get an impact player in the draft.

Ya Carr is likely gone. I think the Raiders got better with this deal and can challenge for 2nd depending if Rivers declines.

This trade would worry me if Alex Smith was still our QB but yanno...

Keeping him simply wasn’t an option after the shit he did and then asking for a trade

Looks good on paper but I have a feeling the honeymoon will end quickly for Brown in Oakland. Of course they do have a lot of ammo to play with to turn things around but mastering the draft with all those picks is easier said than done.

Absolutely. He was done once he acted the way he did in New York. I have no criticism for Veach in how he handled all of that.
