I know I've seen about 60% of it but just never sat thru from beginning to end. I've ways meant too, it was on my must see before I croak list anyway. I recall seeing it when I was a kid but falling asleep half way thru. We were doing a movie night with my folks. We watched The Omega Man and Solyent Green with Heston first, then Logan's Run and we were finishing up with Blade Runner. For some reason I seem to remember android titties... Then crashed and had wonderful sex bot dreams afterwards.
Shit. Oh well. |

Whats interesting is, it was a huge flop upon release. Most people thought it was a tremendous bore, including myself. But as the years grew, people began to really dig it alot more. Im still not sure it has a huge enough following to make the sequel a hit, but who knows? |
If you like Blade Runner you owe it to yourself to read Neuromancer.

Truth is, I've watched Blade Runner more times than I remember... just got my star wars and this thread mixed up.
I mean, who can forget the scene where Han throws Rutger Hauer into the Sarlacc pit? |

"Johnny Mnemonic: was, forgettably, turned into a mid-90's sci-fi film with Keanu and Dolph Lundgren. |

I saw that at a drive in, too. I was 12 and went with my parents. It was the second of a double feature. The first movie was Forget Paris. I fell asleep 30 minutes into Mnemonic. |

I think I did too. Was there a giant shark or a whale or something in that movie? The memories have been repressed. |
