No where is he near the level of Wade Davis. Pretty much no one is near the level of Davis

Stuff says Cahill will be a #5 guy in the rotation, but I gotta think with that ERA as low as it is that he'll turn into our 4 guy, right? Certainly a better option for the playoffs than Hammel, I would imagine.

Also, Kennedy plus these three guys... the Padresification of the Royals continues...

This trade patches up two pretty big needs, in my opinion.

But the thing that is most important to our continued success is the improvement of Alex Gordon and Brandon Moss. If those guys are even respectable offensively, it deepens our lineup significantly.

We are in an offensive pickle with moss heating up right at the trade deadline and gordons offense slightly improving. Would love to get a bat but i think we stay where we are at bank on moss and gordon staying decent.
