If they do plan on a continuous rollout of new episodes and solo stories than they should invest in some expansive dedicated studios and repository for sets, props, etc.

Could be a modified Z-95 Headhunter, but they were already an old design by the time of episode IV.

My god this is awesome shit.

I must be close. I'm in season 2 and the second Death Watch episode.

So far I'm impressed. Hopefully they can show a slow progression in Baby Vader to help me forget he became evil after dinner and a movie with Palpatine...

Pretty good interview with Mark.

Quote:

On George Lucas’ vision for the characters: “He always liked the idea of seeing the original characters as elderly characters.”

On saying yes to “Star Wars VII”: “Look, I’m aware that a lot of people don’t care one way or another, but for the UPFs – the ultra passionate fans – they would come after me like the angry townspeople with torches in the old Frankenstein pictures. I would have a lot to answer for if I didn’t at least try to make the effort. It’s not like I had a choice. I feel like I was called up for service by the Selective Service.”

On reuniting: “I hadn’t seen Tony Daniels or Carrie [Fisher] or Harrison [Ford] or Peter Mayhew in ages. … I was wonderful to see them again, because I didn’t expect to. Again, this is all so unexpected. It’s like getting out that pair of pants you haven’t worn in five years and finding a 20-dollar bill in the pocket. Oh, this is nice.”

On fandom: “I haven’t seen those movies since they were in movie theaters. I don’t watch them on home theater or DVD. There are people who are far more expert in it than I am. They know more, way more, about them than I do, and they care more. … You don’t have to love them, but I am surprised sometimes at how vehemently they get if they’re not satisfied, which is scary. I have this feeling that no matter what we do there’s going to be a faction that really is disappointed. You just can’t live up to that. Any kind of reunion type endeavor, whatever it is … you can never go home again.”

Harrison Ford Injured on the Set of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’

Quote:

Harrison Ford has been injured on the set of Disney and LucasFilm’s new “Star Wars” movie.

According to Disney, the 71 year-old actor was hospitalized after sustaining a bad ankle injury during filming on Wednesday.

“He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care,” the statement reads.

Ford was at Pinewood studios in England when a hydraulic door reportedly fell down and hit him, possibly fracturing his ankle.

He was airlifted to a hospital shortly after the incident.

The J.J. Abrams-directed “Star Wars: Episode VII,” co-starring Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, will continue shooting at Pinewood Studios while ‘Han Solo’ gets treatment.

The new “Star Wars” movie also stars newcomers John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver and hits theaters December 18, 2015.
