Yo Gabba Gabbert goes.

OnTheWarpath15 08-09-2011 06:15 PM

Goddamn, this is a tough decision.

Hammock Parties 08-09-2011 06:16 PM

LOL @ taking Jake Long before Michael Vick

1 Aaron Rodgers
2 Philip Rivers
3 Tom Brady
4 Drew Brees
5 On the clock
6 Peyton Manning
7 Jamaal Charles
8 Matt Ryan
9 DeMarcus Ware
10 Jake Long
11 Adrian Peterson
12 Michael Vick

In other news...Blaine Gabbert goes 6th overall in the rookie draft. LMAO

My next pick feels like it could be a couple days away.

I was shocked that Vick was still on the board.

And man, am I glad he did. I would have had trouble passing on him at 7. The homer blood runs deep with me.

Shit, Tony Romo and Ben Roethlisberger are still undrafted.

LMAO

Window Licking Whiner 08-09-2011 06:20 PM

Figured Rogers would go high, he would have been my #1, so instead I'll take Charles. This being a chiefs thing, didnt want any of you to squeeze him out before I got him. Look forward to him running all over you all....and YOU CHEERING FOR IT! lol

Nope.

I'm not taking the chance that my argument for why they are bad picks alters someone's decision making before or after me.

I'll make my strategy public. I am drafting based on scarcity. I think there are very few elite LTs in the league and Jake Long is at the top of that list IMO. It was a tough choice between him and Joe Thomas but Long is younger so he won out.

Obviously this same strategy applies to QBs, but by the time I picked, all the elite QBs were long gone.

We are ahead of pace so far...

If a reasonable number of people use the auto-pick, we'll stay on pace.

If not, I'll crank down the draft picks to 30 minutes between picks.

Hey, I need a franchise QB. In 2 or 3 years I may have something. Drafting at 19 in the vet draft means I'm not going to get a franchise guy there.

KurtCobain 08-09-2011 06:27 PM

Anybody would have to be reeruned to pick Romo in the first fifty picks. He's toast.
