I'm still trying to catch up on the series. I'm on the season two finale. Just saw Jimmy have sex with.. well you know.. god dammit that was hard to watch.

That's less than a year. Not much considering how long it used to be between seasons of, say, The Sopranos or Deadwood (or how long it is between Sherlock's).

Just finished season 2 last night.. sweet baby jesus I did not see that coming. I'm not sure I like that. I thought something would have happened to nuck before jimmy.

I guess this is technically a spoiler for somebody who hasn't caught all the way up, but I was worried about how the new season would be without him, and as it turned out I don't think I ever missed him a single moment. The show kept going just fine.

Yeah sorry I shoulda have attached a spoiler notice. I assumed anyone reading the thread at this point was caught up.

A friend of mine told me the same thing about never missing him. I guess now that I think more about it it seems a fitting end for the path he's takin.

They can take liberties with history because Nucky's real last name was Johnson, not Thompson, so it is in essence, a work of fiction based on reality.

Mcnulty's really name in real like was Bob Evans.
