Tbh, I think more of Alex smith than most around here so I'd take a dl who can rush the passer from the 3 tech, aka Sheldon Richardson or probably Jordan

Would much rather have Sheldon, as I view 3/5 techs that can get upfield, have solid hand-fighting skills, and pass rush moves as pretty rare commodity.

We desparately need a dlineman that can actually ****ing move and collapse the pocket. I think Poe can add some but we need a disruptor. That would totally change the defense by adding someone like that.

Doesn't look remotely like Floyd, or any of the other 3/5 techs in this draft. Margus Hunt is the only one who is remotely comparable in regards to pass rush ability they've displayed throughout college IMO.

The angle makes it seem like he's lined slightly outside, in a shaded 2 or a 3 but his right hand seems to be in line with the RG's left hand. Thus, a 2 tech.

Richardson ain't much really. Show his highlights against Georgia. Oh wait...and Florida's QB is the worst QB in the SEC and all major conferences. He constantly holds the ball way too long and flat out refuses to throw the ball away. Therefore Richardson's game against us is useless because it's up against a Cassel-esque QB. Nice try though Sorter. Floyd has a higher ceiling.

Additionally, your excuse about Florida's QB has nothing to do with how productive Sheldon's been throughout the course of his career. Additionally, Florida's inneffective QB play doesn't excuse Sheldon's ability to get penetration, use effective swim and rip moves, and be productive against Florida's OL from the 1, 3, 5, and 7 tech in that game. Why don't you watch his game against Baylor or is that invalid because Baylor didn't have a SEC quality line?

Floyd doesn't have a higher ceiling. He's a considerably worse pass rusher, less explosive, worse with his hands, and has fewer moves.
