There are a bunch of people here I like and enjoy reading their takes on many different things... but, atleast as far as intraweb persona's, the list of nice people is a very short one, IMO.

I contemplated creating a thread for people to list the people they thought were assholes. Out of respect for SR, and his wishes to keep things friendly, I decided against it. Lord knows that thread would hit a hundred pages in a matter of a couple of weeks.

There have been several "call out the asshole" threads over the years, but yeah, as you your gut is telling you they aren't usually much fun to read... just a lot of straight up mean spirited attacks that create bad vibes all around.

Why thank ye, I honestly do believe I'm a lot nicer here than I used to be, age has mellowed me considerably... I used to get in all kinds of flame wars but now I see them as a completely stupid waste of my time that makes me look worse than they guy I'm trying to slam.

Dick Bull was a really nice poster. I heard he once saved 30 kittens from a burning AIDS tree. That was done as he was simultaneously giving blood and playing catch with a group of orphans.

Wonder what happened to him.
