Thanks for the heads up! I just turned it on. I never get STL games in Nashville.

bdj23 03-05-2014 12:42 PM

I recently purchased one of those spring training caps. Damn comfortable and a sharp looking hat.

I feel your pain. I was pissed when FSN took over the Royals contract. The local channel in Lawrence used to show all the KC games, and FSN showed all the STL games.

I think I will cave in and buy MLB exta innings this year.

I've thought about it, too but hate the price tag. How much is it this year?

bdj23 03-05-2014 12:54 PM

I think $120 but you get MLB at bat for free. I buy that every year, so basically $100. A bar close to my house has it and I spent a lot of last summer up there watching games. So I spent at least $120 on bar tabs.

I assume this still applies but check the blackout map first.

Agreed. That hat is definitely one of my favorites. Footballfanatics.com is having a 40% off sale merchandise so I picked up one of the home red caps with the World Series patch from this past year for $14 last night too.

bdj23 03-05-2014 01:29 PM

I found one with the WS patch but couldn't pull the trigger, I guess I'm still bitter. I have a WS hat from 2011 that I still wear all the time.

Man... I'm glad to see a SS that can hit.

I just hope we can find a way to fill the gaps for his shitty range in the field.

I have been buying the online MLB and it is worth it. I can watch on the SMART TVs, but usually watch it on my laptop. With AtBat I can watch it anywhere. It is a great deal if you are out of the St. Louis market area. The only complaint is on Fox game of the week days you get blacked out no matter who is playing.

All in all it is still a pretty good deal considering it costs about what it takes to go to one game with decent tickets and a couple of beers and a dog.

I live in Des Moines, and my dad in Omaha, which are both supposedly blacked out, and neither location was blacked out all year. We split an account too, FWIW.
