Nigeria's Boko Haram has pledged allegiance (bay'ah) to the Islamic State, which in an unverified threat to America calls on Muslims to enter the U.S. with Ebola and commit suicide bombings. However, the ultimate goal of Islamic extremists is to bring all humanity under shariah governance.

Suicide bombings from Ebola patients. That's one way to weaponize the disease...

So you can't kill it with fire?

So they are developing a vaccine for Ebola now that should be available in 6 months to a year.

Isn't this how zombie movies start?

I just hope this is cleared up before flu season hits. If not, it's going to be really ugly...

There's more than one strain. The strain causing the current epidemic is not the same one that the US govt has a patent on. The current strain is the worst outbreak out all outbreaks in the past. But it's too hard to get.

A second worker at the Texas hospital where a Liberian man died of Ebola has tested positive for the disease, the Centers for Disease control and prevention said early Wednesday morning.

The agency said the positive result was returned from preliminary test, and that "confirmation testing at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's laboratory is being done."

"A second healthcare worker at Texas Presbyterian Hospital who provided care for the index patient has tested positive for Ebola according to preliminary tests performed overnight by the Texas Department of State Health Services' laboratory," said the agency in a statement.
Given we've had facilities in several locations treat patients successfully, I think this is confirmation that this Dallas facility really did fail to follow protocol.
