Great card so far. I'm not expecting much out of the co-main but thats fine, the first 3 were all good.

Kind of a weak stoppage, but Ronda did drop her, so McMann wasn't robbed.

Second screwed up stoppage by Dean on the card. He let the other one go too long.

The first one by Dean (too long) was a really bad one, but this stoppage was fine, I guess.

I'm never gonna outright say its a bad stop when someone just crumples like that, even though we all know she was probably gonna recover, but when you just collapse like that the ref is gonna go into "oh crap" mode, and look to stop it.

that and the fact she did nothing but put one hand to the side of her head and went intot he Matt Cassel position. It means im done.

I don't agree, unless you classify impressive as only fights that end in a bloody knockout, which the women probably are not capable of. (In that case, stop watching MMA, and start watching Boxing) Rousey vs Tate was a really awesome fight.

Here's the end. I really can't fault Herb for stopping this, you can't just go down so helplessly like that if you don't want the fight stopped. Not that I'm blaming McMann because liver shots suck, but thats the way it is.

I'm guessing that right after he stopped the fight, when he saw McMann stand up so easily, he was thinking "oh, God damnit." and the boos probably didn't help.

He had a rough day, after he let a guy get beat half to death he may have over-corrected a bit.

The only women's fight I'd be remotely interested in would be Cris Cyborg and Rousey.
And no, I'm not some inbred hick that requires a bloody knockout to enjoy a good fight. I just don't feel the women are nearly close in calibre.
Rousey/Tate was hardly an "awesome" fight. If we had two no-name fighters carrying out a fight like that, you'd never hear a word about it.

It was a good stoppage. When a fighter goes down and starts holding their liver while getting punched you have to step in. The Faber one was horrible but this was fine. Although getting Herb out of the main events for a bit isn't a bad idea.
