It's fun to think about. That 13' team owned Boston in the second half and Ortiz said he wanted no part of the Royals' rotation in October.

Shields, Santana, a young, 102 mph throwing, underscouted Ventura, a young, underscouted Duffy, and JGuts plus our pen... it's fun to think about.

If only Moore could have shed the last of his loyalties to the hard working, grit all stars (Getz and Frenchy) before the start of that season. If we roll into 2013 with legitimate a second basemen and a right fielder, it would have been fun to see where we would have gone.

Luckily, Moore learned his lesson on his grit-obsession that season, and finally abandoned the Ross Gload's and unquantifiable "locker room champions" for legitimate baseballers from 2014 forward.

Skoglund back up to the bigs, Junis back down to Omaha.

The wheels on the bus go round and round....

Does it really matter which guy is a bigger jag? Both are AAAA jagoffs.

@rustindodd: Royals are leaning toward starting Travis Wood on Sunday (if not needed tomorrow) and also leaning toward Danny Duffy on Tuesday in SEA.

Shoot me in the face now. No **** that, the temple. I don't want to endure that piece of shit's start.

Wood hasn't given up an ER in his.10 innings this month. Maybe he has it figured out. Has the most upside compared to other 2 we ran out there.

mr. tegu 06-30-2017 03:46 PM

That's a start earlier than what they had been saying with Duffy.

He has significantly changed his pitch mix and it has led to good results.

Was that the year we had a horrible May? Would have made the playoffs if we had just gone .500 that month.

Someone start a GDT please.

Yes, that is the one where they went 8-20 for the whole month.

Nice win today, but tomorrow terrifies me. Two pitchers, one is a unknown and hopefully he can go 6+, as well as Hammel. If both pitchers falter, the pen is going to get taxed pretty good.
