I downloaded OOTP 18 this past weekend. After simming through this season 5 different times the results are in - The Royals are going to suck.

But the good news: After realizing that the OOTP devs pull their projected data from the ZiPS player projection system - I pulled a RustShack pumping up all the Royals ratings to near max and we're totally going to win 124 games this season.

**** yeah. It's opening day.

Jesus, an absolutely filthy slider to ring up a K for the last out of the game. I know it's two games in and is in Mil (Holly in CO will be interesting to watch), but that looked like vintage Holland.

Even when his fastball dropped off, his slider was always nasty. Wade's cutter is great, for sure... but I always thought Holland's slider was absolutely in the same neighborhood. Just filthy.

Holland, at his best, was just a half a notch below Wade. He lacked Wade's pinpoint control on 4 excellent pitches - but when Holland was throwing strikes, he was every bit as unhittable.
