It's a dumb stat. "When Brady doesn't start"? He was a rookie. They were rebuilding. At that point whether he starts or not doesn't matter. You use 19-18 as if to say they'd be nothing without Brady. Take the first year out (5-11) and they've gone 14-7 without him, including 11-5 in '07 and 3-0 this year. Brady may be the GOAT at QB but Belichick is also the GOAT at HC and has clearly shown that it's he, not Brady, who make the biggest difference. Brady without Belichick would be much worse than Belichick without Brady.
