well played. |
This guy got torched last year. Why would anybody want him?
|
Medium pass.
|
I would rather bring back Revis than pay more than $9 million a year to Mathieau.

Tyrann Mathieau thinks he's getting $500K for 5% because the company is about him. All of the sharks aren't making offers any less than $500K for 50%. Because that's what he's worth. He may as well walk away. So should we. |

Don't understand the "broken" comments.
He's missed 26 fewer games than Eric Berry, and played all 16 last season. |

edit: First Eric Berry is a giant compared to Tyrann Mathieau and second we haven't seen if Berry has lost speed yet, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. In the meantime he's already under contract so this is comparing apples and oranges. |

I will never understand CP's fascination with broke dicks.
Mathieu was cut for a reason. |

I’d rather spend 11 million per on a dl a corner and a safety
|
How about Vaccaro?
He’d be a better option. Now that i think about it? Chiefs should sign a safety and go hard at trading in the 1st round to get a CB. I think thats realistically possible. |
Tyrann Mathieau cut

But his size would be my concern I’d go elsewhere |

Overrated.

Mathieu just plain hasn't been good after his recovery. Berry (at this stage of his career anyway) hasn't lost a single step upon returning when he's been out of commission. |

Y’all are stupid. Line him up with Berry and guarantee they ball out.

Always felt honey badger was a tuff s.o.b.
He balled out in Arizona and proved he no longer had issues with smoking weed, which historically he definitely had. He was fun to watch when he was performing, last year I don’t remember him doing anything, not sure if he was hurt or what. |
Would rather get younger and draft a safety and make Sorenson play inside in dime.
Chiefs are going to play more nickel than dime this year anyways. Should be interesting to see if we use more AA concepts. |

Eric Berry is about to have a monster season. Watch.

Missouri, Kansas and Iowa homers make me ****ing crazy.
Stop it, ****ers. |

And in terms of Matthieu it sounded to me like he was saying they’d exhausted that option

I think it's a bad gamble. Regardless of the cost.
We are already betting on too many repaired bodies. |
Right & Left ACL injury history.....Ummm, I'd pass.....:harumph:
|
At this point, with as many spots to fill on D, 1 or 2 year rentals are the best options IMO. Only so many can be addressed in the draft, and most of them may not be ready to start week 1.
|
|
Two injuries. Compete inability to regain quick twitch movement he was known for.
He's done. Let someone else pay him... |
Continue to hear the cost of landing Earl Thomas or Tyrann Mathieu likely to run around $11M/year if they get their number
-@jasonlacanfora How does anyone in the right mind think Tyrann should be making the same amount as Earl Thomas? |
Would be funny if he took a deal with the Rams just for the awesomeness.

The only reason this might happen is because Tyrann has the exact attitude and drive Veach was talking about. If Veach can get the dude to realize he isn’t worth the money he is asking due to big injuries and size then maybe he can sell him on playing with guys with his type of attitude.... Berry, Hitchens, Fuller, Chris Jones being the biggest.

Yeah he seems like a Veach kinda guy. Don’t think we can afford him though. |
I don’t know, do you think he would take Albert Wilson money? 3 years 24 million?

I don't like safeties under 5'11" and I don't like them under 200 pounds. Prefer 6'0-6'2" and about 210-215.
In other words, I have no use for Mathieu. |
