The AC games are all pretty solid according to my 15 year old. They look interesting as all hell to me but I just never sit down to play them.

If anyone is interested in a PS4 or knows someone who is I'm selling mine...switching over to PC gaming.

Everything I have is in real good shape...no wear and little use. I have Battlefield 4, Assassins Creed 4, FIFA 14, and NBA 2k14. Also have a wired Turtle Beach chat headset that I can include.

We haven't had any issues getting on the network at all. Are you wired or wireless? do any of your other devices have any issues with the internet right now? check speedtest.net?

You might have to manually set it up like I had to do for my 360.

A little late to the party but the Assassins Creed games are pretty good.

I love the alternate history type stuff and ninjas/assassins/pirates/secret societies are always cool. The problem I encountered was that the games are extremely repetitive.

You can check your connection. Not sure how to do it off the top of my head, but it's an option. Why haven't you called customer service yet?

Do you still have the installation junk for your router? If you do I would go ahead and restart it. Try to connect automatically (assuming ps4 is similar to ps3). If that doesn't work you are going to have to look up your address information and manually enter it yourself.

I entered it manually, it didn't work. I don't think restarting the router would help, I think at this point it's the sony servers but you guys are saying your all online so I don't know :(

Sony's servers being the problem would only keep you out of PlayStation Network, try using the internet browser, or doing the connection test I told you to do.

a credit card is only required if you are using the included 1 month or 3 month three bonus. If you just go to the store and buy a 3 month or 12 month card no CC is required at all.

Kinda bummed I lost 3 ranked games in a row on madden, played this real nice game against this guy who was using the colts. was driving down the field making a 4th quarter comeback and threw a pick with smith right in the end zone, just like he did in that broncs game at arrowhead.

so i put in cod ghosts and wanted to see the online, server was down so i put in BF4 thinking nothing of it...my god is it fun and running so fast and smooth. played 2 rounds and even managed to get some decent kills in for my 1st real go at a battlefield online experience. literally an amazing game.

any recommendations on games to buy? i have bf4 madden assasins and cod...was thinking of picking up marvel superheroes and possibly 2k...any other titles worth a buy?

I think I liked AC3 more then 4..as weird as that sounds..I just really liked that american atmosphere to it. I haven't played much of 4 but I'm hoping to get some time in, it just looks nice but feels very glitchy..I'll board a ship and enemies won't even attack, they'll just stand there or when they do attack, it's insanely hard.

who plays B4, we should get some online going and hows killzone? kinda wanna get it, just picked up 2k, not the biggest basketball fan but it's alright.

I absolutely loved AC3 until it got to the damn battleships. Got stuck and never went back to it. I need someone to get me through the ship battles so I can get back to the story.

yeah the ship battles in ac4 have caused me some problems. Does the game pick up at all? seems pretty bland so far..I've only played maybe an hour or so of it but it seemed like the same shit on the last gen consoles..

The game, as most every other new generation game, was designed for the previous generation and ported over.

In surprised you dislike them so much. I sometimes find myself idle in the story mode b/c I'm too busy boarding ships and building up my ship. I'm not a big fan of the shipwrecks though.

I just can't do them right. I won my first couple battles then I had to start dealing with ground attacks and they ate me alive. Just made me lose all interest in a game I was really enjoying up to that point.

I have tried stop and go, run and gun and keep my distance. Nothing would work for me.

Try staying a ways away at first, trolling back and forth making yourself a moving target. Use your mortars until you run out.

Then, use the same trolling pattern back and forth, but much closer, and use your broadside cannons.

With this strategy, I was able to take out hard forts without much difficulty and mid tier upgrades.

Also, in the southwest seas, there are larger loots to be had, which speeds up your upgrading process. Try to get ships with loads of metal alone, but if you have to take on a convoy, when you take out a ship, board it, and repair your so before fighting the rest of the convoy.

I lost my entire game save when my ps3 died. Don't know if I will ever get back to that game or not.

Absolutely. Sometimes it is a nightmare on ps3.

You must play a lot more often than I do or something. I play 2-3 hours a night, sometimes on Saturday or Sunday morning/early afternoon. I've never noticed a PSN outage.

I haven't seen any outages either. I leave mine in standby mode so it will take care of updates and when I wake it up it sometimes has issues connecting. A quick shut down and restart takes care of that.

Maybe he is misreading an internet issue on his side as a PSN issue.

NO, PSN was doing maintenance on the day in question so the online was dead.

I really do wish PSN would start doing their updates overnight rather than in the afternoons.
