Unless its a quick run to the store. Then it could still be shorts.

Also, pee-can.

The warmest single piece of clothing a lot of people have is pretty much a warm hoody or Jacket. Not these type of ones: http://www.frontcountry.com/frontcou...t_thyme_fr.jpg

Its really not that bad if its just running to the car, getting out and grabbing pizza, and running back into the house. Especially because the issue is your head and upper body, not your legs. If the wind isn't an issue, having shorts on outside for a short time isn't as extreme as it may sound.

If that were black it could be my overcoat although it doesn't look quite as stuffed. T-shirt, button-down flannel long sleeve and hoodie under it and you're good to go. Wear your snow boots, 2 pairs of socks, long undies under your jeans, stocking cap and gloves and head out on the town. Don't be a puss.

Truth here. Warm the car up and shorts are fine for a 30 second run in and out.

Yea yea I know. Just a couple things were a little humerus.

NJChiefsFan 01-01-2013 04:23 AM

Aussie the key is covering your head and hands, doubling your socks if possible. If you are out in wind for a while, cover your face as well. You keep your head and digits warm, you will be at least "ok" comfort-wise.

Well if it's double-digit negative temp with a wind chill I might put under armour under the t-shirt and heat packs in my boots if I'm shoveling snow. After 10 minutes you'll be hot and shedding layers to let the breeze in.

It can stay cold the whole damn year as long as that crap isn't going to greet me in my garage or from under my car.

Spiders like would be way more inland. But yea, if the average person in Australia saw one of those closeby they would likely freak out, just like anyone else would.

Really spiders are only around in summer. And luckily in my area the only ones that regularly show up indoors are harmless (albeit quite large).

July and August hit triple digits most days plus humidity often in the midwest. You can always put more clothes on in the winter. You can only take so much off in the summer.

The worst summer day I remember was 114 but that's rare. This past summer 102-108 was pretty normal during the dog days.

Most spiders in the superbs/city are only found in nooks and crannies outdoors. Very few spiders go into houses and when they do they tend to be harmless or close to it.

102-108 is pretty hot. That's the hottest it ever really gets on the coast. Itd get hotter further inland. 114 is probably the hottest experienced too.

These are really the two only spiders that would ever frequently be indoors.

These are harmless becomes their fangs are so small and cannot really bite anything:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...uly_2007-2.jpg

These are the scary looking ones that many people mistake as deadly: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi..._grey_bg04.jpg
Dont get me wrong there are many similar looking spider that ARE dangerous but arent really found in superbs/cities very often.

Okay I take it no-one read the post with the pics.

Basically bad spiders usually stay away from indoors and the suberbs/cities. Two main spiders that come into suberban homes are harmless.

Haha, yeah I used to try to fight with people about baseball and hockey but its not worth it. Hell I even like soccer. I am very tolerable when it comes to sports. As for baseball, there are points against it I can understand but in the end I still love it. I freaking love watching playoff baseball as well.

The one thing I think they need to fix is the time between pitches. If you aren't brushed back I don't understand why you need to get out of the box and reset. I get that I don't get paid millions but unless a ball moves my feet I never take both feet out of the box. The 20 second rule or whatever they have is a joke and obviously never used.

I get that I don't get paid millions but unless a ball moves my feet I never take both feet out of the box. The 20 second rule or whatever they have is a joke and obviously never used.

I get what you're saying. IMO it's just part of the relaxed beauty of the game. The aggresion comes once the ball is hit. The rest is what some call "the thinking man's game." I get why some don't like it but I do. When I spend the money for a ticket to the game I don't want it too be rushed. I want to spend the whole day there. It's my happy place.

I hear you. And I am not looking for it to be in fast forward speed, but some pitchers and hitters are just too much for me. Runners on I can understand it more, but some guys get to me.

Almost :D

We don't agree on music, sports or killer spiders........ yet we aren't pricks to each other about it. It's very uncp-like.

When I saw pictures pop up I started to panic.
