What is it about CP that lures rival/other team posters to the site? CP users aren't exactly the most friendly or inviting people out there. In fact, they are the most cynical, unfriendly, uninviting group of message board posters I've ever seen....by a landslide. Is that what attracts people to the site? The honest volatility in the responses? Or maybe is it a place where people put their knowledge to the test in in an attempt to self-evaluate (evaluated by how much or how little they are able to manage to fit in) due to the fact that on top of this place being shark-infested, there is simultanesously a huge crop of extremely intelligent posters.

What is the appeal? Any rival fans or users in general have any thoughts?
