Honestly, I can really see the Bills taking Glennon. Can't really explain it, but some players you just have a gut feeling that they would be on said team.
Like Brandon Flowers in 2008 and Mark Clayton when he was drafted by the Ravens. |

I wouldn't normally reveal rep comments but this one deserves mention.
DomCasual posted that montage of pics of Glennon and I had to rep him. He replied to my rep with a rep message and this picture: http://images.news14.com/media/2012/...9b657b96f6.jpg |

IF HE HAD AN NFL TEAM BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |
I see his upside as Joe Flacco lite. Not only b/c they're both tall, lanky and awkward with big noses. Mostly b/c of their game.
Comparing him to college Flacco, they both seem to use their height well, and pick apart the defense with short and intermediate routes. Both capable of throwing the deep ball, but hesitant to. He could be Flacco, but won't have Baltimore's defense to lean on, so he won't have near the immediate success. Even if he becomes Flacco, he certainly wouldn't be worth the #1 overall. |
Second pick maybe? He could be our Kirk Cousins for Geno III

He's 6-6 and has a big arm.
That seems to be the limit of the fascination. |

This has been my thinking the entire time on Glennon. |
bumping this.
Watch the youtube vids and contemplate WTF Kiper among others are thinking that this kid is going to be better than Geno Smith. I watched everything with an open mind and I just don't see "it". |
TBH, I don't see how you can like Glennon anymore than Bray, for the fact that everything Glennon does well, Bray has done better against better teams.
|
I have watch a few and looked up his stats on Glennon and going WTF? I have watched several of Geno's games this year and a few of the other quarterbacks talked about going the first round and still believe Geno should be the first quarterback taken in round one.

Aaron Murray

IMHO, I see the top 5 as..... now where they are selected is the next question. All 5 have the possibility to go 1st rd depending on individual workouts, nothing later than 3rd rd. 1 Geno 2 Wilson 3 Bray 4 Glennon 5 Barkley |
I'd also take a shot on Murray in the later rounds. Chiefs need to come away with at least 2 QBs IMO

I'm telling you, the guys upside is Joe Flacco. Period. I am REALLY starting to think Kiper is on the take (as has been rumored) and is talking up certain agents clients. It might not get Glennon taken #1, but might persuade a team to take him in the 1-3 round area.
|

He has regressed this year over last year,IMHO has little upside. The others have more upside. |
No.
|
|
Looks like an ostrich. Do not want.
|
LMAO that neck
|
his neck is shaped like a 1, i hope that is not a sign lol
|
With that neck he shouldn't have any trouble seeing over his line. I'd worry about a QB with that low accuracy in college. Kyle Boller has show they don't get better.
|
Harvey Williams approves of Mike Glennon.

Barkley is on a team that has better talent than most in college and has done less with that talent. His sacks and ints doubled this year from last year. USC finished tied for 5 in the conference. It is a weak conference. |

So I watched a bunch of this guy. What in the hell makes this kid better than Geno? Geno was ballin out of control. This dude is just a regular ass college QB. Get real.

Geno Smith just sold him some mike glennon :D

I want to see him side by side with Aaron Murray. Whose shoulders are higher up? :P |
We should just take a QB with every pick. One of them has to pan out right?e a
|
Russell Lande @RUSSLANDE
@AdamSchefter - I am not sure who will be making pick for KC, but today I finished charting M. Glennon & I think he will be the pick. |

One of my friends who covers the Jags said a Jags scout told him that Glennon would be the first QB off the board. Compared him to Matt Ryan.
|
Here's to Vanderbilt destroying the goofy ostrich tommorrow.
|
Glennon isn't as bad as some people on here want to think. He's my #2 guy. I wouldn't be excited to get him, but it would still be a good QB, so I couldn't complain too much unless Geno blew up somewhere else.
|
i like glennon and bray. geno has tools but acts like a head case and comes from a shit gimmick offense

Glennon is extremely like Matt Ryan in several ways. Would love him here.
He'll take time to develop though. But so will every QB in this class. |
question on Glennon is mobility within the pocket. He's tall/lanky and so ... ya he's a lumbering type. got to learn better footwork quickly to rock the NFL. Can he do that? **** if I know. probably. but how quickly? that would be a question for his trainer.
I have seen him at #1 on a QB board because of his decision making, mostly. I'd take him over Matt Barkley. Goofy SOB he is. http://www.docsports.com/images/lib/...-glennon-1.jpg |
Just a heads up, Glennon is about to play in his bowl game on ESPN. Chance to see our #1 pick in action!
:) |

Not sure I place much stock in the way that group evaluates QBs (though, in fairness, I realize the scout possibly wasn't part of the group that drafted Gabbert). |
I think Glennon is Gabbert 2.0. His measurables are getting him more and more hype leading up to draft day, but seeing his competition over the years I'm not entirely impressed. Most of his throws in his highlight reels seem to be when the defender loses a step and you can't bank on that in the NFL. I think Glennon is #3 behind Geno Smith and Tyler Wilson.
|
I think I remember seeing Mike Glennon in Florida once. I was staying at the Animal Kingdom resort and he stuck his head in my window. Good Lord.
|
Good First drive so far
|
That may have been the worst snap I've ever seen in my life. How you get it so far over a 6'6" QB's head is beyond me.

3 dropped passes already by my count.
|
Actually did good on that drive except for the dropped passes and the center hiking it over 6'6 Glennons head
|
Awful INT Glennon
|
well that was a poor decision.
|
Kid has a rocket arm
|
NC State IS AWFUL Drops and fumbles
|
Very Chiefs like on the turnovers!
|
I don't see how you can like Glennon over Bray.
|
Im trying to watch what the kid has but they keep dropping balls, fumbling and one INT.
|
I know its not saying much but his throws are much better then any Qb on our roster.
|
Damn good out pattern pass on the sideline, numbers.
|
Quote:
He's not a head case |
Should have been 6, wr dropped pass in the end zone.
|
Receiver flat out drops a TD in his hands. No help for him
|
Kid has good pocket awareness.
|
I'm liking this kid. Nice arm, nice touch. I wonder what he could do with real receivers.
|
After the senior bowl he will move into the top ten IMO
|
He has a serious problem going thru multiple reads.
Other than that...He's tall, Pasty and Ugly |
Hasn't made any reads yet.
Still don't see how you can like him over Bray. |
Quote:
Like i said he's not a head case |
This kid is ****ing awesome!
/obvious sarcasm |
Another pick. Kid has serious issues progressing through his reads.

Mel Kiper said this is the guy who we should take with the #1 overall pick. The douchebag with 23 posts confirmed it. You obviously don't know what you are talking about. |
