What? Prayers aren't just useful for a cure to some awful disease. You can also pray for someone's peace and their journey. Regardless, there are no wasted prayers. Have a great day.

I'm not sure that wishing someone to do better is ever a wasted prayer. Yes 87 is a full life and you may just have to adjust said prayers to the rest of his time left is painfree, peaceful and is able to have his bucket list checked, but that is not a wasted prayer.

I don’t want to ever visit a message board where msmith can’t start threads. We need MORE msmith threads, not less. Nobody makes you contemplate life-related issues quite like msmith does. Msmith may very well be my favorite thread-starter.
