He's a special brand of talking head. I do think guys like Stephen A and Cowherd and their ilk know what's going on in sports to a certain extent, but Skip gets hilariously dominated in every serious debate I've ever seen him get into because he doesn't have a clue. It almost gives him a charm of authenticity in a way.

I thought it was pretty cool Sharpe mentioned at one point he and his buddy Derrick Thomas swapped helmets and he might bring it in. I thought they hated each other?

Skip spent all of last NBA season/playoffs destroying Kawhi Leonard (primarily because his main target LeBron (and Shannon’s fav) was not relevant from January to June). As soon as Kawhi signed with the Clippers, he walked into the studio wearing a Kawhi Clippers jersey and began praising him in comparison to LeBron (ignoring his ridiculous criticisms for the past year). They knew they needed to capitalize on the LeBron/Kawhi rivalry on their show for the year so they completely reversed course overnight.

It’s all an act and it’s all for show. Keeping him well paid, though.

Nah, we hated Sharpe so assumed that DT did as well. That one game where Sharpe got DT ejected though...they must have patched it up later...
