Yeah it’s pretty crazy. Two years ago Iowa had both of these guys AND George Kittle.

Holy cow. That's impressive.

Yes. They also ran three TE sets.

With Kittle?

That would be pretty cool.

It makes me a little suspicious that something in their system artificially helps tight ends, but maybe they just have an incredible tight ends scout.

They put a lot of kids in the NFL, not just TE’s. They run a pro style offense which probably helps, rather than all of the spread option you see in college now.

OL, TE, DB, DL and LB’s. They don’t put out a lot of offensive skill players. The trenches seem to be what they prioritize.

Go watch film on Hockenson and Fant. It’s not a scheme thing. They’re just flat out good.

Their offense heavily uses TE's. If you're a top prospect Iowa is a good place to land if your goal is to make the NFL.

For me I just don’t want them spending a 1st or 2nd round pick on a position we let go away via free agency. Like if we draft bradberry ,center, in the first we could of just bit the bullet and resigned Morse and spent the pick on a area we really need. CB, LB, WR etc are all good. Just don’t want a center or DE as we had good players already and could of kept them.

I'm all for getting a pass rusher.

Sometimes you just have to turn over positions to manage the salary cap.Houston and Ford would have cost 40 million to keep. We don't have that.
