Why? This list is compiled by players, about expectations for the upcoming season. It is something that Peters dropped from 32 to 79. I would say he is not as highly thought of now by he peers. The word is getting out combined with having Talib across from him is likely to expose him.

Mahomes will hopefully be in the next one

Watkins, Hill, Kelce, and Hunt Those sound right about making it maybe Berry if he make It I can see him being in the 55 on the list.

Mahomes will not be on this list, no way. They will make him prove it and then everybody will jump on board next year like they've been on the hype train all along.

I'm confused. I thought these were (supposedly) lists of the 100 best players of the recently passed season. Is it actually the best players going into the next season?

Garoppolo played in only six games and made the list, so I presume that Mahomes came pretty close to making the list by playing in one.

No way. He’s not going to be on the list.

Well the only way would him being ranked higher (lower? ...better) than Garoppolo and that ain't happening.

Garappolo made a big impact in the games he started. Mahomes game was a throwaway game for both sides more or less so he doesn't get as much credit.

Mahomes was 100 percent on game-winning comeback drives, and he had an undefeated record as a starter. He certainly won't rank as high as Butker, but that's pretty good.

Then technically, it would be the top 100 of 2017.


Which no one should even care about at this point.
