Yep, I root for my state as well. Until they play KU, then I only root for the hawks. Difference being, if they beat KU, I'm not overly upset since it was an instate team that is moving on.

Never forget 81 with all three teams going to the sweet 16 and the Shocks beating KU in the battle of New Orleans. KState lost to N. Carolina.

Of course, none of them made it to the final four but it was still a fun tournament.

Nope, thats the way I feel also! Ive loved KU since I was a kid, raised my 2 sons as KU fans,then what do they do, both go to K-State! :rolleyes: I always root for K-State, except when they play against KU! When the table is turned, unfortunately most K-State fans are the opposite, including my family!:hmmm:

Congrats, KSU! Helluva win last night. Some of my family are KSU fans so I like to give them crap from time to time during hoops season. That being said, I don't have a problem seeing them do well. And last night was especially fun because I can't stand Calipari and Kentucky.
